STARBASE Nebraska

The Program

STARBASE Nebraska is a highly interactive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) enrichment program for Lincoln area 5th Grade students. We are a federally funded Department of Defense program supported with oversight by the Nebraska National Guard. Our goal is to provide exciting “hands on – minds on” STEM activities and experiments in an aviation/aerospace environment. The life skills of goal planning, team work and building positive self esteem are embedded through out our curriculum design. Participating schools typically attend our academy one day a week for five consecutive weeks.

Instructors

STARBASE Nebraska instructors specializing in STEM challenge students to explore, experiment, and grow in their knowledge of these fields.

Requirements

The program is free to Lincoln area public, private, parochial, and home school students. In order to attend STARBASE Nebraska, all students must have media and liability releases signed by their parent or legal guardian.
