WHAT IS STARBASE NEBRASKA?

The Starbase Nebraska program will provide a hands-on science, mathematics and technology curriculum to 5th grade science class students during the school year.

Through the development of exciting learning activities and one-on-one interaction with professional teachers and military personnel, the program encompasses not only academics, but also teamwork, substance abuse prevention, career exploration and self-esteem building.

The academy will provide innovative educational activities which ignite the interest and increase the knowledge of youth in science and technology content areas.
