MISSION
The Mission of STARBASE Nebraska is to
provide innovative and educational activities that spark the interest of youth in Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields of study.
VISION
The STARBASE Nebraska program believes
that:
- All children have the capacity to learn
and become productive citizens.
- All children, regardless of social or economic condition,
have the capacity to take charge of their lives and
should be enabled and empowered to make critical decisions
for their futures.
- Children, given proper guidance and positive role
models, will be better prepared to make positive life
choices.
- Children excel when provided a safe and fun learning
environment.
- Motivation can be generated through experiences
which are interactive, hands-on, and result in personal
successes.
