STARBASE Nebraska is a highly interactive academic enrichment program for 5th grade elementary school students. Our goal is to provide exciting hands on Science, Techonology , Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities and experiments in an aviation/aerospace environment. We promote the life skills of goal planning, team work, and building positive self esteem, as well as provide students an awareness of substance abuse prevention. Participating schools attend our academy one day a week for five consecutive weeks.

Our classrooms are located in the Penterman Armory at the Nebraska National Guard Base in Lincoln.

STARBASE Nebraska instructors specializing in Science, Math, and Technology challenge students to explore, experiment, and grow in their knowledge of these fields.
Requirements
The program is free to Lincoln area schools, including public, private, and home schools. In order to attend STARBASE Nebraska, all students will need to have media and liability releases signed by their parent or legal guardian.
